Why does the SAVE Act have the potential to disenfranchise married women?
For women who have taken their husband's name, the name on their driver's license will not match their birth certificate.
Women will need to show proof of marriage and birth certificate to register. Many women will not have all of the documents tracing their
name change at hand. The time and effort to obtain these needed documents - and the money (poll tax!) - will make the process
of voter registration difficult and costly. Bureaucracy may prevent women from being able to register before the next election.

What's worse, the SAVE Act contains language that will require computer-driven algorithms to purge voters from rolls and then
NOT INFORM voters they have lost their right to vote!!
Showing ID to vote - o.k. - but this bill is not meant to safeguard the vote. It's meant to control the vote.
It's a power grab by your Republican congress people.
